Question about RCA DCM425 DIGITAL CABLE MODEM (RCADCM425)
If your xbox is connected straight to your modem or router, the game console will detect the connection automatically; however, if your xbox can not connect still, I suggest you check on the settings of the modem. Try enabling NAT on your modem.
Changes on the modem can be done by pulling up its interface. The interface of the modem can be pulled up by typing the default gateway of the modem in the address bar of a browser.
** ** DEFAULT GATEWAY can be obtained by typing ipconfig in the command prompt.
Once you are able to pull up the interface, play around on the buttons and look for the NAT?GAMING option and enable it.
GOOD LUCK and enjoy troubleshooting!
