Black or blank screen

All my songs work but u can not see anything on my screen its just always black

    I HAVE THE NWZ-S616F MP3 PLAYER AND WHEN I TRY TO DOWN LOAD MUSIC BUT THE SCREEN KEEPS SAYING CONNECTING USB (MTP) AND I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP ME AND TELL ME HOW TO FIX IT PLEASE

I had the same problem, try hitting the restart button.

    I did the restart button and nothing, the screen is black. The songs get played but I dont see the screen. How will I know if Im in the right folder? I cant see the screen

Try resetting it by using a sharp object, like a pin and press the reset button with pin ect.

I GUESS MY I POD FROZE IT WON'T DO ANYTHING.....


hold down menu and center buttons until the screen goes blank then wait for your ipod to reboot. it should work fine then

I have a zen v-plus that always had a black screen i can only listen to it


my zen was dark and i cant see whats in it.. i can only hear songs but the screen was dark.. when i turn it on again same situation dark screen.. pls do help..thanks and more power..

u have to wait till the screen will be black. I had the same problem with my sansa. it can lasts 1 or 2 days. after screen is black and then do following: 2. change lock switch to orange position 3. Press and hold rec button (at left side) 4. while pressing the rec button, turn the player on 5. it will appear the boot menu. connect the USB cable and try to continue the firmware 6. if it doesn't work, do a firmware downgrade. download this file: http://www.sandisk.com/Assets/File/Downloads/firmware/e200fw01.00.12.exe 7. execute the application while in boot mode good luck darek
