Well had my monitor for about a year comming up (should be still under warrenty worse case), and recently the screen gets messed up whenever entering or leaving a full screen game.
It moves horizontally to the right everytime i enter/leave a game meaning the whole horzintal position moves, leaving a black edge on the left side and unvisible parts of game/desktop on the right. I can fix by just doing the auto adjust but its annoying to have to do that so many times per day.
Is there any fix or reason this is happening? thanks.

- Ahh, updated the monitor drivers didn't work, but then reinstalling the latest nvidia drivers did it. Thanks again, wouldnt think vid drivers were problem cause I had them already up to date guess they got corrupted somehow.
-   I have a SyncMaster 171v. When I turn the computer on tjhe Desk Top screen saver is large out of shape pulled to the right. If I turn the monitor off and back on it is ok. How can I correct this. Thank you for your asistance+-   Guest
When your not playing games does it have this problem? You should update the drivers for the monitor and your video card and even the games for that matter, all of those have updates. Update all of these items and see if the problem still exists. You may try running a virus/spyware/other boogies scan too you never know what ilk they may spread. We'll keep the warranty thing in mind but try the above updates.

my display images all seemed to be stretched, I the resolution from the highest to the lowest and it did not help. What could be the problem? It is a Viewsonic VA712b, the color and everything else seems to be fine.
