Help! Wife about to kill me!

The unit was working fine in my truck. I removed it and installed it in my car. Now it does nothing at all. I have the proper power to the proper connections and have verified such at the junction on the back of the cabinet. Any help would be appreciated. Jake

Without knowing what car it is you might want to check to see if you need the harness to have the factory Head unit still hooked in to recieve EMERGENCY Alerts, usually this is on the GM models i am not sure of others. Second check the harness with a test light and also the radio fuse either under the hood or dashboard -=or both in some situations=-

JVC KD -S680 needs help

maybe short circuit or similiar problem inside since its geting hot, probably not a problem with the faceplate I would remove the cd player from your car and take it to a professional for a diagnosis / repair estimate. Can't solve this one with text only.

I cant get my subwoofer to work in radio mode. they work fine in CD mode, but nothing in radio? help

Make sure the antennae input is plugged into the back of the head unit. There should be a lead behind the dash coming from the car for the antennae. This will plug straight into the back of the head unit to receive radio signals.

Jvc kd-g441 usb car stereo unit

Here's what Halford's told me to do; Remove the unit (by taking off the front bit, then using the keys to get the main bit out). You should see a red and a yellow power cable. Take the red and yellow cables out of the sockets, and swap them. This apparently re-orients the power and allows the unit to store data and resume playback etc more effectively. Hope it helps...

NO Power

Hi. You need to check a few things. make sure you have power on both the red and yellow wire with the key one. If only one has power the radio will not work. also make sure that you have a good ground connection on the black wire.. if nothing works yes you probhably have a bad radio. the dual brand radios are notorious for poor solder connections on the mainboard due to the way they build thier cheap circuit boards..
