SOURCE: I am having problems finalizing my disk to play

To have finalize option, please put the camera into video mode; that means not to be on picture mode.

SOURCE: canon dc320 can't finalizing disk in video mode

The camcorder needs to be in PLAY mode before FINALIZE will be available. Unfortunately, sometimes it will still fail and you will never be able to view it unless it is through the camera. If I had known this I would have purchased a camcorder that used a different storage method and then burnt the videos to a disc later. I now have 3 discs that will not finalize.

How do I finalize my dvd in my canon dc320

When you are in Video Playback mode do as follows:
1.) Press Menu 2.) Go to Disc Operations 3.) Scroll to Finalize and then click yes.
Avoid moving the camera and do not do this if outside in excessive heat. Hope that helps :)

Cannot eject finalized disc

Try turnin the camera to the side where gravity will help pop open the disc and be careful not be keeping it close with your own hand. Its a thin cover and you can accidently be holding it close without knowing.
