HP Probook 4520s Energy Star no WWAN device installed

Maybe the wireless card is bad. Turn the laptop off, remove the power cord, remove the battery, then remove the cover on the bottom of the laptop that houses the wireless card. Remove the two antennas (black and white cable) from the wifi card (be sure to remember where the cables go), then remove the wifi card from the slot. It might be secured by a screw or two that you will have to remove to get the wifi card out. Let it stay out for about 20 seconds, then put it all back together. Reboot and see if the system recognizes it now.

Try downloading and installing the network drivers.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "HP Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Network drivers.

My wireless connection has stopped on my advent roma 2001

Maybe the wireless card is bad. Parts don't last forever. Are you sure your wireless switch is on? Are you sure your wireless router is on?

When you say your wireless connection has stopped (that is a broad statement that could either be a problem with the router or the wireless card in the computer).

Does your Laptop pick up any wireless signal at all from anywhere? Do you have other laptops in the house that is picking up the wireless signal?

If other laptops pick up the signal, then the problem is with your wireless in the laptop. You might try downloading and reinstalling the wireless drivers.

Un able to connect the Wireless access point, from my laptop. It is showing up in "view Avialable Wireless Networks" and it is not getting connected when I say connect

The solution is to remove (Uninstall) the Dell WLAN Management software this removes the device as well. Then Reinstall the wireless card with the Drivers ONLY. (It seems the DELL software doesn't work properly with the DELL branded network card in a DELL Laptop; go figure)
When you download the driver it will unzip and try to install automatically; but this will only reinstall the offending software again, so you must cancel the installation after you unzip the file.
When I searched for new hardware again it found the device as a Broadcom wireless card but could not install the drivers. This allows you to click Update Drivers and point to the 'drivers' folder in the location that the files were unzipped to. Once the device driver alone is installed the wireless card works immediately and finds any available networks.

Try removing the wireless card.Remove the battery and ac adapter first. The wireless card resides under one of the panel on the rear of the computer.Once removed start the computer again.Remove the drivers installed via Control Panel.Power down reinstall the card.Power up if windows find new hardware install the drivers you download.

My wireless is gone, and does not show up in device manager

If your wireless adapter is not appearing in Device manager open the cover on the bottom of the lap top and make sure the wireless card is properly connected, next look for an external switch that might have been accidentally turned off. If everything is good then you may want to try a new wireless card for the PCMCIA Slot.

Driver installer doesn't install drivers. :S Gigabyte GN-WPKG

Hi,
The problem could be caused,as you are also missing the chip-set drivers for the motherboard. You need to download and install the chip-set drivers for the motherboard first. Then install the wireless card driver and it would solve the problem.
Sometimes the conflict is also caused, due to faulty installation of the os.
1. Remove the entries of the PCI, from the device manager. 2.Remove the wireless card from the computer.
3.Restart the computer. 4.Shut down again, 5.Put the card back in and then install it one more time.

Belkin f5d7010

Hi there, these cards can be alittle tricky to setup sometimes. firstly are you using the drivers on the cd that came with the product, or have you downloaded new ones from belkin? The reason i ask this is because there are many differnt models of the same card and the drivers have to be a perfect match. If you are using the original drivers then i would recommend removing the card, uninstalling the drivers and rebooting. then start the installation process again and remember DO NOT insert the card before you install the drivers as this can cause installation problems also.... hope this helps..
