LG Dryer low heat doesn't work

It may be as simple as checking your lint filter.
If you use fabric softeners sheets, they tend to clog the lint filter holes. Washing it with soap and water will restore it back to normal and will allow the circulation that the dryer needs to properly dry your clothes.

My dryer runs at a very high heat regardless of the setting. What needs to be replaced?

Unless I am wrong, I believe the heat in a dryer is either ON or OFF ... there is no "gentle heat" as such. Most dryers achieve 'gentle heat' (or any heat setting, for that matter) by cycling the heat on and off for certain periods of time.

Which is not to say that your dryer is not malfunctioning. If you continue to believe your dryer is not under control, you probably cannot repair it, the on and off cycle being regulated by a variety of delicate sensors.

I suggest if you suspect you are having out of control heat with your machine, it may be time to call the professional to have a look-see.

Our Whirlpool Dryer Will not heat at all and not

Your timer may be the cause of both problems. Not cycling and no heat.
Whirlpool makes a excellent dryer and is worth repairing. Replace the timer first. If you still have a heat problem most of the other parts are around $30.

Wet clothes take two 'trips' to dry.

UNPLUG THE DRYER THEN PRESS THE MORE TIME , AND THE LESS TIME BUTTONS AND THE POWER BUTTON FOR ABOUT 10 SECONDS. THEN WAIT FOR 3-5 MINUTES THEN PLUG THE DRYER BACK UP . SEE IF THAT WORKS BY THAT RESET.
