I have changed the o ring three time and I cant get it to stop leaking. Two new o rings installed....still leaks. large o ring sx200z7

Had problems with these types before also. As the filter ages it warps and thats a problem lol.
You said you cleaned the recesses Im hoping top and bottom and lubricated the recesses IN addition to the o-ring, don't hold back on that lube either. And lastly although it sounds odd, dont over-tighten the nuts, tighten them slightly over hand tight turn the pump on for a bit leaking everywher tighten everywhere, leaking in one spot, tighten only that one spot a little.
Putting on all that lube doesnt do too good when it spits it out from pressure.
Also pics next time, and good luck!

Pool Filter blowing water through clamp when starting up

One possibility is to use a Sharpie to mark where the tension ring sits, circumference-wise, after tightening it. Next day or two, when the water blows through note where the space between the mark you made and the adjustment screw. If there is a space, the tension ring is obviously stripped. Also, have you considered a crack in the pump housing???

The lid will not sit back over the o-ring securely. Thus the band holding the top and bottom of the unit together does not securely fit. Does anyone have any tips on how to correct this problem? Will...

I wish there was an easy fix for you. I have had to have two people pushing down on the lid to get the strap started. Just make sure that you lube the 'o' ring. I have always used a new 'o' ring whenever reassembling. When you get the strap started, tap it in all around. Then tighten a little. Repeat over till tight. Good Luck!

Difficulty in putting filter back together in getting clamp ring on

When reassembling the grids place the manifold upside down on a five gal. bucket. Then assemble that way, this will hold the grids stable and make that part much easier.
When that is done and in place. Lightly grease the tank "O" ring. Then run the pump to fill the bottom of the filter with water. With the air bleed closed set the top and lightly push down. As the water inside runs back to the pool the suction created will pull the top down tight. Then just set the ring and tighten.

I have the 12'x30" Intex Easy Set pool, and there is water leaking from the bottom of the pump, Ive tried to figure out why but i cant find the problem...any suggestions?

YOU MIGHT CHECK THE GASKET INSIDE THE IMPELLR CASING AND MAKE SURE THE SCREWS THAT HOLD IT IN PLACE ARE TIGHT ALSO CHECK YOUR SEAL BETWEEN YOUR PUMP AND FILTER. THERE IS ALSO A LARRGE NUT UNDER THE FILTER HOUSING THAT COULD WORK LOOSE. I WOULD ALSO CHECK ALL O RINGS AND MAKE SURE THEY ARE PLIABLE AND IN GOOD SHAPE.

My model 603 filter pump leaks at the top under cap

It could be the o-ring on this model. There is a seal on these pool filters that looks like a rubber ring inside the lid. You might need to replace this ring if your pump is leaking here.

Filter motor leaking water when off and filter chamber only filling half way. Think the motor chamber is sucking in air.

It now won't come off? hmm....I would think that the leak is cause from a worn (or lack of) a black o ring that should be on the stem of the motor. (where you attached the hose).

If it now won't come off, I'm thinking maybe the black O ring has become twisted and wedges in the hose/stem, making it difficult for the hose to come back off.

Keep trying to pull it off. Maybe twist and pull in various directions. It should eventually come off. If it's done that, the black O ring is probably damaged, so you will need a replacement. Once that is replaced, you shouldn't have a leak anymore.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

I had boughten a intex pool from a garage sale and the pool is fine but the filter is leaking water everywhere and all the water that is in the pool keeps coming out.

if it has hose clamps tighten them if the area that is leaking has o rings (they can become brittle and leak water) you can purchase them at local harware store
If it is a cracked housing they can be purchased at intex.com
call them up and order your parts

2006 hyundai sonata oil filter leak

I finally figured this out. I was putting the o-ring on incorrectly. I actually had two o-rings installed.
The o-ring should not be visible when it is tightened down. The plastic should be touching the metal housing. The o-ring sits inside the housing, right above the threads, but not at the top. Two pictures attached._388.jpg
