YES you can!! Touch the "video" button on Jensen, theyou MUST use your iPod to findthe video you want to play on the screen and SET YOUR iPOD SETTING TO "TV OUT"!! I have the same decand iPod and it's GREAT!! Just remember that on videos, set the iPod to TV OUT, and control the video from the iPod!!
U need to order the Terk XMD1000 Direct XM Tuner Box. Its Search on the internet for it.I bought mine on xmradio.com. Cost is 49.99. Its comes with the antenna and box. Your XM radio code is on the box. Go aline and setup an account with SiruisXM and its going to ask for that code. once you do that. Ensure you are not under any cover to get a good signal and it will tell you to go to a certain channel. Then you will be pulled in. if you have any issue contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com. I will walk you through. Good luck.
The new ipod will not work with anything other than 2008 alpine products. Apple embedded a chip in the actual cable that tells the ipod that it's ok to pay. What you need is an authentic apple video cable that can only be purchased at the apple store...then hook the inputs up to the video input on the radio.
The Avic N2 is only XM ready not Sirius ready like the N3, which is SAT ready(both XM and Sirius). If you must have your Sirius the only option left for you is use the rear input on the hide away unit but you won't have it on the touchscreen. There is one more expensive option by have your N2 hardware upgrade to N3, some Ebayer have that service offer for about $275. It's done by replace a surface mounted chip with 70 plus leads. That would take some expert de-solder and solder skill with a solder torch or
a tech's heat gun. I can do it but I don't know which chip it is. I have an immaculate N3 for sale on Ebay. Maybe you could sell your N2 and buy an N3. I usually get about $550-$650 for an N2 depend on the condition. Hope that I did some help. You can call me at 801-414-4566, I would do anything I can. Goodluck.
Try a hard reset. If you look on the face of the unit, you will see a little pinhole located on the lower right side, stick a paper clip in there and hold in until the system reboots itself, this should be done while on.
