Question about Computers & Internet
Installed Quickbooks Premier Industry-Specific 2009 with no problems. When I attempted to set up the Company file I received this error.
There has been an issue similar to this seen with people whose windows xp recieved service pack 3, or vista service pack 1.
From what I understand, microsoft has pulled the updates due to issues with their own products. If your system has recieved the service pack, contact MS Tech support to have the service pack update removed.

Click the Ctrl+Alt+Del keys to open Windows Security.
Select Task Manager.
Click on the Processes tab.
Click on the Image Name header to display the processes alphabetically.
Scroll down and locate QBCFMonitorService.exe.
Click once to highlight and then click the End Process button.
Click Yes on the Task Manager Warning.
