Check your breaker by turning it off and back on. Then check wiring at plug and back of dryer. You could have a bad relay switch. You can find it under the top and put the 2wires together and try it then . If it works, you know that it is the relay switch. Last but not least, it may be your element. Check it visually to see if there is a break in it or a weak spot.
Sounds like door switch. Open door and push on door switch. you should here a clicking noise. If you can open the top of the dryer. put the 2 wires together of the door switch. Make sure it is unplugged when doing this. Make sure you use electrical tape when you put it together. Temp fix. Get a new switch
try looking at your door switch and also your thermal fuse on blower. it is white in color and has 2 wires going to it. black center stripe you can put those 2 wires together and wrap with electrical tape. make sure dryer is unplugged before attempting/then plug back in and see if it works.
If this worked before that part was taken off, then take it off agin and make sure that the gear is engaged with the other gear in side the timer unit re adjust and before putting screws back in try turnning dial if it engages the put screws back in and if this fails you may need new unit (timer unit) That small gear may be pushing on the one it's suppose to engage.
you need to check the heating element and the thermal fuse in the back of the dryer, they should be their. do you have an ohme meter, if not barrow one or you can pick one up cheep and lowes or homedepo .
