    Husquarvarna 145Bt though, not 125.

Unit was running very well then suddenly it will not fire at all.

Pulled plug, it looks clean and I know the fuel is fresh and proper as unit was and refrreshed with new gas/mix only a month ago.

Now nothing (likely no spark) when trying to start

Cant figure. Compression is good based on starter cord pull (resistance)and compression sound when pulling off.

    Must be electrical somewhere?

THIS TB320 WAS REPLACED UNDER WARRANTY THE YEAR BEFORE FOR SAME IDENTICAL PROBLEM I'M HAVING AGAIN: WILL NOT START. THIS ONE WAS RUNNING FINE AND IN USE WHEN IT JUST STOPPED AND WOULDN'T RESTART. PLUG WAS FLOODED WHEN TRYING RESTART. CK'D PLUG AND FOUND IT HAD NO CONTINUITY BETWEEN THE TOP OF PLUG (WHERE IGNITION WIRE CONNECTS) AND THE CENTER ELECTRODE. REPLACE PLUG- STILL WON'T START; NOT EVEN A POP. POURED OUT OLD GAS; DUMPED A LITTLE GAS INTO CYLINDER HEAD WITH PLUG OUT-STILL WON'T START. TORN DOWN BLOWER AND CK'D KILL SWITCH WHICH IS WORKING CORRECT. NO SOLID STATE IGNITION SYSTEM JUST A IGNITION COIL. SEEMS LIKE A SIMPLE SYSTEM. SO, NEED SOME HELP WITH WHAT TO CK NEXT. SINCE IT'S ONLY ONE YEAR OLD AND WAS RUNNING FINE, WHAT WOULD MAKE IT JUST STOP???

Start with emptying the gas tank totally. Refill with fresh gas/oil mix. Todays gasoline ain't that great.
Also after putting in fresh gas and priming if it doesn't fire at all pull the spark plug and if it is dry, pour a about a tbsp. of mix gas in the plug hole. put the spark plug back in and see if it will fire.

I have a toro 98 cc powerlite snow blower. did not drain fuel after storing for the summer. drained fuel, put new mixed fuel in and engine wouldn't start. replaced spark plug, cleaned carb and bottom

cleaning the carb was a good thing if done properly. fuel tarnishes over time and this tarnish destroys diaphragms in carbs and also plugs up the jets. If you used compressed air at a high velocity then you may have damaged the internal check valves in the carb. Also check your fuel filter and air filter

Scooter wont start

Sounds dlumb, but first check and see that the fuel is flowing into the carb. You should make sure the ignition is working properly and firing, do this by pulling the plug wire from spark plug and hold it about a quarter inch from metal while turning the engine as if starting. A strong spark should jump the gap without a problem. If the spark is nice and blue, pull the spark plug and check to see if it got flooded out and is wet. If so, dry it out, clean it, regap it it, or install a new one. Then try starting it again after adjusting the new carb by turning the idle screw all the way in, then back it out one and a half turns for initial setting. If it still has problems spray starting fluid into the carb while turning it over. You should also check the new carb float level since not all new things work as they should.

Klx250 wont run it has spark new battery and cleaned carby but wont fire up will occasionaly start and run fine

Remove the filter or filter connection to the back side of the carb and spray it with starter fluid. If it starts when you do that each time, the carbs still have a problem and need to be cleaned out again or adjusted correctly.

Poulan pp4218 wont start. New spark plug, has gas,

The spark plug is a great place to start and often the issue. So now we know it's not the spark plug, can you check to see if it's getting gas?

To do this, after trying to start it, pull the spark plug and see if it's wet or smells like gas. I suspect it's not getting any gas and if you find this to be true, check to see if it has a gas filter. If it does, it could be clogged and needs replaced.

Also, if the gas is old, it could have tarnished and this is a bad thing. It can cause issues that would require you to clean out with a carburator cleaner. Having said that, I use stabilzer in all my fuels and this helps out. In addition, if it's an option, drain the unit before you store it.

Lastly, do you feel compression in the unit when you pull it. Basically, is it super easy to pull the starter cord? If this is the case, you may have to take it in to see if they can fix it.

I hope this helps.

Husqvarna 51 died and wont restart

hi
if you have a good compression,a strong enough blue spark and carburetion for the fuel air mixture try priming the engine(put small amount of gas in the spark plug hole)then start the engine. If the engine runs only the gas you put inside the cilinder there is a carburetion problem to find and fix.
let me know regards savumihai71

Engine wont start but turns over battery is ok can smell a little fuel which i assume means my filter is not blocked just wont fire up

If it smells fuel means that you overfilled the cylinders with gas.Take out the spark plugs and check if they fire. That way you are checking the ignitions coils too.If they fire, install new spark plugs and crank the engine with the choke pulled and no throttle at all.Assuming that your carbs are cleaned and corectlly adjusted.
If the coils don't fire then you should check the pulse generator sensor and make sure that it's pulse is transfered all the way up to the ECU.

Wont start after 6 mos. I changed the spark plug, drained & added fresh gas, checked the fuel filter... Kicks over fine. Ran for 4 seconds, then it died. Always ran & started great before.

With a new plug and fresh gas it should start. Check to make sure there isn't a kill switch turned off or that the gas petcock from the tank to the carb is on.

How did you check the fuel filter? Disconnecting it from the fuel line that goes to the carb is the best way, making sure the gas is turned on under the tank. Bleed off a little gas into a can or something just to make sure the filter isn't plugged.

The last thing I'd do is take off the air filter and spray a little starting fluid in the carb. It may start and run several times if there is old gas in there somewhere. Remember the bowl on the carb is probably still full of old gas. After some fresh fuel reaches the plug it should start and continue to run.

(You might drain the bowl on the carb of ols gas before you go any further)

Good luck!
