Question about Whirlpool LER4634J Electric Dryer
Whirlpool Dryer Model LGC7646DQ0 Serial ME2401631
The thermal fuse has continuity. But I'm wondering if the internal bias thermostat could be bad. It has 2 red wires and 2 purple wires on it. When I remove the wires, there is continuity on the connections where the red wires were, but not where the purple wires were. Should there be continuity between the connections where the purple wires were? Or do you have any further suggestions on other possibilities?
Dryer was working fine earlier this week, then wouldn't work when tried today.
Thermostat would not cause it not to run if the white thermal fuse has continuity ck the door switch to be sure lever is not broke also ck breaker after switch timer most logical but unless you know to ck best not just guess could be expensive
