Trying to take off tire from my troy belt mower

I have a troy bilt 33" mulching deck, both tires won't stop leaking air so I was going to take the wheels off and take them to get new tires put on them but they won't come off after taking the clip and 4 washers off. Not sure what I am missing

Remove the center cap. Then there are 3 ways the wheels are held on. One is with an E-clip, remove with a straight screwdriver by inserting in gap between prongs and twist. Two is a snap ring that is removed with external snap ring pliers. Three is a cotter pin that is removed by straighting the ends and pulling out with pliers. Next remove the washer and pull off the wheel.

I hope this is helpful for you.

Your local lawnmower shop may carry them or your local hardware store might sell them as well. If they don't have it, then you might have to go on line and go to Troy Bilt website and special order from them. Ebay might even carry it.

I have a model 13aq609g063 troy bilt riding mower. It has a 18hp briggs & stratton, 2 cylinder, ic engine. the engine runs fine, the bottom pulley on the engine for the pto belt turns when running, and...

Another possibility, is a broken spring or a tight/ rusted idler pivot arm.
with the engine off & the deck down, engage the pto & pull on the belt to see which pulley is the tensioner

We just purchased a used Troy Bilt vac/chipper w/ a 5 hp tecumseh engine. Worked fine when we ''test drove'' it. Now that we have it home and are attempting to use it we noticed gas leaking out of the air...

If you go to troy-bilt.com, look at the bottom of the page. You can get owners/operators manuals online.

Sounds like a stuck float in the carb, which is a bowl shaped part more than likely right behind your air filter. That's what lets gas in when the engine is running. If you tap lightly with a screw driver on the bowl, it may remedy the situation. Would also suggest putting some carb cleaner in the fuel, probably about 2 tablespoons to a pint of gas, just to clean everything out.

Even if you cannot get the fuel to quit running out of the air filter, this is not a serious problem. If you feel secure enough, you can take a (probably) 1/2 inch wrench and carefully take the bolt off the bottom of the bowl. Unless you have a fuel shut-off in the fuel line this is going to be a messy process. Do not do it in the garage, rather in the driveway cuz you are going to get gas all over. When you get the bowl off there is going to be a "float" in there that will go up and down on the non-attached side. When you push it up that should stop the flow of gas. A little shot of carb spray cleaner around the needle may clean it up a bit and make the movement much less restricted.

How do u change the oil in a troy bilt lawn mower?

Set it up on a work bench or table of some sort with the dipstick at the outside edge of the table. Remove the dipstick and turn the mower on its side dumping the oil out the dipstick tube into a suitable container.

Don't do like my daughter did when I told her how to do this, she took a container that her dog had played with and bit holes in it, now she has a nice oily spot in her back yard LOL

Troy bilt push mower 6.75hp/21''cut/mulches/bags/side discharge- Can anyone please tell me why this mower does not cut grass well? I have to make several passes to get a even cut and the grass is not that...

I know this is a dumb question, but is the blade on upside down? This is common mistake to make, and is the blade properly balanced and sharp. I would definitely make sure of these items first. From the way you describe it, I can't think of anything else.

Replacement part for Craftsman 650 Briggs & Stratton 22" multi cut mower Model #917.376741

You first need to locate the model number on the mower, not the Briggs engine. Then go to searspartsdirect.com and enter your model number on the right side of the web page. This will take you to a list of parts for your mower. Your model number should be located on the deck of the mower (you didn't say if it was a rider or a push). Rider model numbers are located on the rear of the body behind, on or under the seat. Push model numbers are found on the back of the deck between where the handles attach to the frame.
