My dell desktop inspiron 570 will not power up at all. No power what so ever. The green light will come on in the back, but when i push the power button, it wont respond, and the power light in the back...

Something is shorting out the power supply. Remove any PCI cards likemodem, video card, sound card, etc... Remove the memory modules and disconnectcables to CD/DVD drives. Look at the USB ports to see if any are damaged.

Won't turn on

Try a different power cable. Try a different wall socket. Then if that fails, your power supply unit is probably at fault. Contact Dell about the issue. If they don't help, try fixing it yourself, or getting a quote from a repair shop.

All of a sudden the pc wont work can start the pc and it's running but just getting a beepeing noise roughly every few seconds help please. Rich

The beeping your hearing is a code, Without knowing how many beeps it's hard to tell what is wrong, But usually indicates a Power Supply issue or even a motherboard issue those are extremes it could be that your hard drive is no longer booting, Or the operating system isnt being found, Usually though that beeping is not a good sign.
I would suggest when your computer starts beeping it is time to seek help from the pc repair shop in your area check craigslist usually some adds on there for inexpensive work

Dell inspiron 1501 caps-lock and scroll-lock flashing

Hi
You probably have a mother board issue. Most likely the video chip. Take this to a reputable repair person or check my website www.micromendllc.com.

Solid Amber light when starting the Inspiron 530 . Every time i start the Dell inspiron 530, the solid amber light comes on and it dont start. As per Dell user manual i have tried everything but of no use....

Amber led simplifies a start-up-error. This could be a number of things.

For example:

Check if HDD is connected properly

Check if RAM is connected properly / also if this is damaged your pc wont start.

Check your m/board for any loose capacitors an if they are not popped at the top.

Your LCD screen is properly plugged in to the m/board and if the cables aren't damaged they are very thin and fragile.
also could be the power supply...

I have a dell inspiron 1501 and all the usb ports are not working , says failure

Since those ports are plug and play, there should be something wrong with the operationg system. Are you using Vista, if yes, you better use XP.
