Question about Pioneer XM2go Inno Satellite Radio Receiver

3 Answers

Battery life I purchased a Pioneer Inno xm2go satellite radio in December 2006. My problem is the battery life. The battery does not seem to hold a charge for more then an hour when using it with the XM Antenna Headphones. Is this normal or should a fully charged battery life be longer than this? I have fully charged the battery for the recommended 8 hours prior to use with the XM Antenna Headphones. If the charge does last during one of my hour walks, when I go to turn on the Inno the next day, the battery is dead, as if somehow it is draining itself. Any suggestions to fix it?

There are firmware updates on www.xmradio.com. I plan to download the update and try to see if it fixes the problem.

This is an issue for firmware versions prior to 1.30. The latest version is 2.11; try updating your firmware. If you are still using firmware version 1.05, when you update you will lose the FM transmitter in all cases except when you Inno is docked in the car dock.

Pioneer inno will not recive xm singal

Are you still having this problem? Sounds like you just aren't getting a good signal. Antenna is not properly mounted, not getting good singal.
Or, the antenna and/or cable is damaged.

Pioneer inno radio-doesn't work in car

When its in the car dock, the Inno sends an FM signal to the car radio. It does not receive a signal from the car radio. You must have the external antenna correctly installed outside the vehicle for the Inno to work. The built in antenna is disabled when the device is placed in the car dock. Make sure to test it outside, since garages or car ports will block the signal.
