It is hp 45 black ink cartridge and used in my 750 hp three in one copy machine. I also have a 882 ink jet printer the cartridge says good for both when I put the cartridge in 882 it would not work so i tried it in my 750 it comes up with error code says can not read the ink cartridge. I looked at the cartridge and the imprint of the ink cartridge where the pins line up is misalined. I purchased and new 15 cartridge and both printers worked fine. It cost me $51 dollars for a new cartridge so i figure that hp owes me $25 dollars for a new cartridge. Larry Overlock 4368 SE sweetwood way Stuart Fla 34997

    I m old engneer i know that the problem is with the cartridge

    they come in a two pack at sams why did one work and

    not the other my 750 printer is fine it just rejected the 45

    cartridge because it could not read the pin placement

    I believe that Hp owes me refund for the cartridge.

    the pins dont line up with the electrical oulets on the 750

    or 882 the cartridge is defective made

The HP Website shows the 45 is compatible with the 882 and not the 750 and the 15 is compatible with the 750 and not the 882

    I certainly mean no disrespect, just passing along the info from HP. Maybe they were compatible in the past and HP changed it because of this issue.

Print cartridges would not move to center when opening lid so that ink could be replaced


There could be a paper jam in the printer head clearning system. If the head cleaning system is not completing the cleaning motion cycle the carriage will not move the catridge to the centre.

Says I'm using the incorrect black cartridge. I'm using 94 just like I'm supposed to.


Are you getting error related to incompatible ink or Ink cartridge defective and this is Genuine cartridge purchased, then check for the Expiry date on the cartridge and call HP support to get assistance.

If the cartridge is defective and if the cartridge is still in warranty, You can probably expect to get a replacement cartridge without charges.

Can I print on my hp 6122 deskjet with only a black ink cartridge? I have no color ink.


Yes, all HP Deskjet printer models feature a 'single cartridge print mode'. Just remove the cartridge you don't wish to print with; the printer will automatically revert into either greyscale printing (if color cartridge remains installed) or black only printing (if the black cartridge remains installed). However, if the installed ink cartridge is electrically damaged/defective the printer will display an alert message; it will need to be replaced with a new cartridge.

My epson c59 says the ink cartridge is expended, and the it is not the genuine ink cartridge of epson, what will i do now, but its new


You may have a defective Epson cartridge (internal ink level monitoring circuit) - Epson uses a piezo-electric sensor (in all their cartridges) that is subject to this type of failure...the cartridge may need to be replaced.

However, if after replacing the T0753 cartridge with brand new Epson Original ink cartridge, does NOT correct the problem, then you may have a defective PRINTHEAD in the printer (i.e. permanent electrical sub-assembly which the cartridges plug into).

Reset ink cartridge


Unfortunately you can't....

The ink level indicator cannot be manually re-set in the newer HP, Lexmark or Dell integrated ink cartridges, thus making it not usable. The OEMs all leverage 'fusible links' in the nozzle plate (internal to base of ink cartridge) which physically blows the resistors as the original ink is consumed...thus resetting the ink cartridge's ink level monitoring capability is simply not possible. The ink tracking feature is only available with a brand new ink cartridge.

However, losing this feature is not necessarily significant, because the ink level indicator usually has 20%-30% ink remaining when it shows "low on ink". Therefore, the warning has limited value, because customers who prematurely replace their cartridges when they see the "low ink" message are wasting a lot of residual ink.

check expire date on cartridge
perhaps you need to replace it
or clean it from maintenence menu
of your printer

My hp officejet j4580 says incompatible black ink cartridge


I've been in print cartridge hell since I bought a J4580.

I spent an hour on chat with HP customer service and was able to resolve the problem by partially resetting the printer. Here's how:
  • Make sure your print cartridges are installed.
  • Unplug the machine, wait 20 seconds
  • Press and hold the # and 3 keys
  • Plug the machine back in
  • You'll see a reset message on the machine, release the # and 3 keys
  • Follow the prompts to set the language and location
Cross your fingers, hopefully your printer will print now!

My Hp PSC 1350v


Hi, I really appericate all your efforts to fix the issue the issue usually occures if any one of the cartridge is defective or low in ink or both the cartridge are defective. We can isolate the issue only by removing the both the cartridges out of the printer and check for the expiry dates printed on the cartridges as if the cartridges are expired also leads to this message. If the cartridge are not expired and have minumial ink in it you can try the below procedure to isolate the defective cartridge Once the both the cartridges are out of the printer insert only the black cartridge in the printer and check for the message if the message is install color cartridge the black cartridge and printer is detecting fine. If the message is check right cartridge this shows that the black cartridge is defective. If the message is insert left cartridge or color cartridge remove the black cartridge out and insert only the color cartridge and check with the message if the message is insert the black cartridge the color cartridge is working fine. And when the color cartridge is in the printer and if the message prompts to check left or color cartridge the color cartridge seems to be defective so replace the defective one will fix the issue So in isolation we can find the defective cartridge and fix the issue by replacing the defective one..
