Make sure that the cd disc is detected by your computer and all the track will showing before you import it. If ever it is not showing you need to change the disc. Another one is download the patch.

Tips to Burn Movies Purchased from iTunes to DVD

It's easy enough to burn a movie or video on our computer to a DVD disc in order to watch the movies on TV via DVD player. But it's not the case when it comes to burn movies purchased from the iTunes Store to DVD. As you need to know, all video files, including movies, TV shows and music videos we got from iTunes are protected by DRM technology, which makes it impossible for us to directly copy the iTunes movies to DVD burner software. But that not means we can't find a way to burn the DRM-protected iTunes videos to DVD discs for watching on TV. In fact, there is a tool called TunesKit iTunes to DVD Converter (http://www.tuneskit.com) will get the job done with ease.

This iTunes video converter application is going to help us bypass the DRM lock from iTunes movie purchases while converting the DRM'd video files to unprotected MPEG-4 format which is supported by most of the DVD burning software so far. Now you can follow the instructions below to easily get rid of DRM from iTunes purchased movies before burning them into DVD.

Here we will take iTunes to DVD Video Converter for Mac as an example. So make sure you've downloaded the latest version on your Mac. Otherwise you should click the URL here:
http://www.tuneskit.com/TunesKitforMac.dmg

1. Load iTunes movies to TunesKit by clicking "Add Files" button or by dragging & dropping action supported by this converter.

2. Select output settings, like the output path, audio tracks and subtitles before converting the DRM-ed iTunes movies to MP4.

3. Start to remove DRM protection from iTunes movie purchases by clicking "Convert" button.

4. Find the converted DRM-free iTunes videos in the output folder and add them to DVD burner to begin burning them to DVD.

Once the movies are successfully burnt to the discs, you are freely to play the iTunes movies on your HDTV via DVD player at anytime you like.

There could be a number of reasons why you're having trouble adding music files to your slide shows. First I'll lay out the procedure and afterwards I'll give some hints / a link to individualsoftware.com where problems with audio files are discussed.

The procedure (adding music files using SlideShow Expressions):
The programme opens and you are automatically in tab 1: "Add Media".
Click on "Create New Slide Show". Click on "Add Photos"; tell the programme where the photos are, select them, insert them, change their positions if necessary.
Now:
1. Click on "Next" at the bottom of the screen.
2. At "Soundtrack", click "Select Audio Files", then tell the programme where the music files are located on your computer, click to highlight a specific music file, click on "Open". The music file you selected now appears in the Soundtrack window. Repeat this until all the music files you want appear in the Soundtrack window. (You can delete any of them by clicking to highlight any specific file and then click on the little rubbish can icon.) As you go along, the total audio time for the slide show / chapter is displayed as well as the "Duration of Slide Show".
3. In the "Duration" section, you have the option to set the length of time you want per slide (seconds) - usually 8 to 10 seconds is best. (All your slides will follow this instruction; you can't set the duration of individual slides to a different time.) At "Auto-Fit to Soundtrack", you alter the duration of the slides to fit the length of the soundtrack. (This cancels out the previous seconds-per slide setting.) You must therefore choose music tracks that, when added together, will approximately span the whole length of the slide show and then you can fine-tune this by clicking the "Auto-Fit to Soundtrack" option.
4. When you are satisfied with your choice of music tracks and the length of your slide show, click on "Finish".

Issues with music files when using SlideShow Expressions
A.
According to the User Guide (section 3-3) - included on the install disc as a pdf file - the supported audio formats are: mp3, wma, wav, ra. Make sure that your computer also meets all of the requirements (on the box).
B.

Photo & Video Expressions is not compatible with audio files that have been protected by Digital Rights Management (DRM) functionality. Most audio files purchased online through Internet music retailers like iTunes, Urge, or Rhapsody are encrypted with some form of DRM. Similarly, audio files that have been extracted from a CD or DVD (the process known as "ripping") using certain media applications (iTunes, Windows Media Player, etc.) often have default settings that encrypt the files extracted.

There is no way to used DRM audio files purchased from online music retailers with Photo & Video Expressions. However, if you want to used music and audio files that you have extracted from your CD collection, then all you have to do is change the ripping setting in your media application before you extract the files to your computer.
Go to the following site to read about how to change your ripping settings:

http://www.individualsoftware.com/support/frequently_asked_questions.html

Type your question OR (below):

"Photo & Video Creativity": choose "SlideShow Expressions" from drop-down menu, click "Go".

A window appears with options on problems, e.g. "Why aren't my audio files showing?"; "Why won't my music files work?" Click to read.
The best of luck to you. From: 11407336.

Describe your Roxio Easy CD & DVD

Sounds like you don't have a valid license for roxio, or its screwed up.

On a pc, you can just insert the disk you want to burn, open the drive and drag your files on to it, click burn. Or you can download a free utility, such as CD Burner XP, at http://cdburnerxp.se/

if you need to make DVD movies, try this link:

How can I burn a CD or DVD of a "movie" I made with photos and music? I am using Microsoft Picture It Express 9. Any help would be great!

Hi!

Firs of all you need to think on in what format you having that movie in. I guess you want to play it in a ordinary dvd and and they are restricted, all dvds plays mpeg bur not all plays dvix, xvid etc

When you have decided the format you need a burning program, one of the best is Nero ( http://www.nero.co ) its not free but you can download and try it for 30 days.
Another program is cdburner ( http://www.cdburnerxp.se/ ), that oen is free, not as good as nero in my opinion..but..its free

After installing the burner program you need to select if you need a cd or a dvd disk to burn on, a cd takes 700mb, there are cd:s that takes 800mb but they are more expensive. A dvd takes 4,7gb.

Now its time to burn, start the program select the disk you going to burn on, then its just to drag and drop the moviefile you want to burn. When the movie file is in place, start burning, select the burning speed, dont burn to fast since you burning a movie, i recoemnd a speed of 15-20x speed

After burning, your done! take out the disk ans enjoy your movie!
Let me know how it goes

Good luck
Nic

PS, i asume that you have a cd/dvd burner on your pc

Refer to help document of the software. You could usually press F1 to issue it.

If you have not bought picture show deluxe, Windows Movie Maker (:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe) on your system will always do the job.

More easy to access software in my opinion is Wondershare Movie Story

There might be one on microsoft.com you could download.

I have a feeling it wasn't working the way it was supposed to and Micorosoft pawned alot of there video edit support over to Pinnacle Systems and standing behind Studio which is the stuff I use. Its a good program to use. Version 12 just came out this week. It will produce DVDs and just about any kind of format you need.

If you have a Nero DVD buring program, you might have video editing program that was included with the CD.
