Hi
here the steps

This model is equipped with a self-diagnosis feature to help with diagnosis of shutdown problems. To activate this turn the unit on let it shutdown then press the input and menu buttons on the front panel simultaneously and hold them in for 5 seconds after 5 seconds the power LED on the front panel will blink a two digit sequence. This will be one set of blinks a short pause then another set of blinks, this will repeat 5 times. 1 - 2 = no error detected
2 - 1 = X-ray protect (high voltage or beam current)
2 - 2 = Short protect (short protect monitors low voltage supplies)
2 - 3 = Deflection protect (this could be loss of vertical or horizontal deflection)
2 - 4 = Vertical protect (usually loss of vertical from the source)
1. Shutdown at power with self diagnosis error
2-2. Check for open fuses F9A04 and F9A05 part # 283P144080 on the +24 and -24 volt lines. If the fuses are open the convergence output circuit would be suspect.
2. Shutdown at power with self diagnosis error
2-1. At power on check for 12-volts DC at connector KH pin 8, if missing check IC9C51 part # 270P990010 and L9C52 part # 441D009020 on the Signal PCB.

Could be a few things. Bad bulb? Just like anything, some are just not made correctly. Could be the ballast that powers the light, or you may have a component on any board that is failing causing it to go into a protection mode.

You have to have a Panasonic remote (one that came with the tv, or a similar model), and if it doesn't have the PIP button (or Split-Screen button), then you will have to use the '0' (zero) button.
Power on the tv, (and wait for the lamp replacement text, and press ok or enter or whatever it tells you to make that go away.) then press and hold the zero button on the REMOTE, and AT THE SAME TIME, press and hold the 'vol -' (volume down) button on the TV.
    Zero button on remote AND
Volume button on TV AT THE SAME TIME.

This worked for my PT52LCX16 ( PT-52LCX16 ) which came with a remote without the PIP button.

Was the lamp blown before it was replaced? Is this model 46DL10. Are any lights flashing on the front of the set?

Is the lamp door cover back in place after lamp replacement? Was the set working before you replaced the lamp?

I did not find any counter reset procedure or free service manual for this model. Here you can get the service manual, I do not know if registration is free. There you should find counter reset procedure, if there is any.

In any case, ensure that the lamp is placed correctly and that the door is closed properly.

Check capacitors cp624, cp647 1000uf@35v each. They are in the power supply. Can be seen with bulge on the top. Seems to be a common problem with this model RCA.

Have replaced my lamp myself. TV work fine. "Replace lamp" warning still appear when tv is turned on and yellow light still flashing.

You need to reset the "Lamp Hours" in your settings. It is a timer that just runs down, and doesn't know if you changed the bulb. It just needs to be reset to 0.

these TV's have lots of problems. Don't waste your money on repair. But towards new one or you will be constantly replacing parts.
But anyway sounds like a power supply or light eng problem. If all measurements are good then the chassis needs to be sent to Mitsu for repair (approximately 140 updates to it).

My Samsung HLP4663W 46 in was making a buzzing noise for several months. I know it could have been either the fan(s) or the color wheel, but I never opened it up to determine which it was. Now the TV quit...

Great reasoning work! In fact, the lamp will not light if the color wheel does not spin-up. Fans will not stop the process of lamp ignition. Instead, a fan will be detected and a message will appear on the screen telling which fan has stopped. You need to have the color wheel replaced.

HI, this may be a simple cooling issue. try inspecting the cooling fans that are located near the power sector. if these cooling devices are not operational, they will cause the power board to shut down periodically, due to heat build up.

If the fans are operational, this will confirm a weak and defective power power board.

Best but repleace bulb but red light still on

So far I have entered the service menu (both menus together) then selected Lamp Replace (option 14) and then pres ok to reset. Version and Lamp (option 11) now reads Lamp life (Khr) = 8 and Lamp use (Hr) = 0.
