Change you screen resolution to lower resolutions, like 640x480, connect it. if you get video, move your resolution up and test which ones work for you TV. Try to stay under 1920×1080.

Hi.

The all-in-one desktop computer supports digital and analog signals. You will need a standard aerial for this (one that is mounted on your roof or the side of your building).
If you are trying a cable which receives cable TV then that will not work.

I WANT TO USE MY DESKTOP TO PLAY FILMS ON MY TV . DONE THE CONNECTIONS AND GOT THE RIGHT SCREEN WHEN THE COMPUTER STARTED UP THEN IT WENT BLANK SO I CHANGED THE RESERLUTIONS ON A MONITER SCREEN THEN...

What you should try at this point is shut everything down, Unplug your desktop, hook it back up to tour moniter and boot. If you now get a picture, go to your device manger and click on display adaptors. If you have more than one selection. choose your monitor. Let me know if this works.

Im trying to hook my insignia d400 to my jvc hd tv i have a vga cable that converts to rca cables and s-video cable and nothing shows up on tv

Does your TV not have a PC connection? It looks like and IS the same as the Connection on your PC. If so, get a standard VGA male to male VGA connector cable from your local PC shop and use this. The adaptors you are using won't be seen as PC input. You will need to also connect a PC audio cable between them to get sound. When you have installed these, using your remote control, select "scource" as PC and you should be away! Good luck. Ian.

Unpacked computer after move moniter will not stay on it comes on and says going to sleep shuts off please help

Hi
please check the cable between the computer tower and the monitor.
either the cable is not connected properly or the cable is defective.
this is a message you normally get when the computer is off, and you try turning on the monitor alone.

hope it helps

I have a liteview moniter but when connected to my computer it has no sound is there somthing wrong with the comp or the moniter

Most monitors dont have built in sound so check for a sound connection from the monitor. Check the cable where it connects to the PC, if there is a small light stereo plug, stick it into the light green connector on the back of the PC tower. The standard video cable does not have the connections for audio. If you are using a HD monitor that has inbuilt speakers, try using the HDMI connector if it has one, this does have the audio inbuilt, Some DVI cables have inbuilt audio, some do not, look for small round 2.5 mm stereo plugs not connected into anything..

start system then hit the F8 key and then select "Safe Mode"...if you can successfully get to safe mode, then there is a problem with the screen resolution being too large (video memory or monitor limits)...then restart in standard mode..any change?
