To activate your phone, you may contact to your service provider LG CHOCOLATE VX8500 Unlock Code, they can activate your phone fast, it's hassle free. I suggest to visit LG Unlock Code site, they will provide an accurate code with easy to follow instructions on how to unlock your phone. Once your phone is unlock, it will work with any network worldwide and don't have to stick with one network.
the phone needs to be unlock, you can go to a mobile service center and have them unlock the phone for you....or call the person that mailed the phone to you and ask what provider the phone works with then go to mobile2mobile.net and unlock the phone nline for a small fee.
Not happening ... Verizon phones run on a CDMA network. Cingular and T Mobile run on GSM ... Sprint although runs on CDMA .. last i heard were making most of their phones hybrid (CDMSA and iDEN ) and verizon phones can in no way shape or form be made a hybrid phone... specially not an LG phone.
Also, with verizon phones, there's nothing to unlock .. they are ESN bound phones meaning only the service provider can say YES or NO weather they'll use it on their network or not. There's no CIM cards
