You need to look on the legend on your furnace blower door for the meaning of this error code, it can only be a few things, since you say the unit lights up and runs but shuts down the high limit circuit is suspect, I would check the air filter and insure all supply vents are open, the limit may be bad however a cracked heat exchanger will also do this so a free inspection by your gas co will be a great idea once you get it running again.

Eheat will not come on

When resetting anything electronic, leave switched off for about 15 mins. The electronic boards store the memory of any failure or problem and switching off for only a few seconds or minutes will not reset the board. Turn off at the mains supply not the wall control.

Torpedo kerosene heater shuts off after 15 seconds, have to push reset and it starts again, what's the problem?

Does it light? If it does it could be the electric eye that sees the flame and keeps the unit running. It is either dirty or bad. remove the eye and clean it. It pulls straight out and has two prongs on it. Does not matter how it goes back in. It is just a switch. Replace and try again. If it still does not light replace the eye.

If you cleaned the eye and or replaced it and it still does not work there are a few more things to check...
  • Not gtting enough fuel. Check the filter. Usually a small in line filter.
  • It also could be the transformer is getting weak. The transformer produces 10,000 volts between the two electrodes that keeps the heater running. I would only change the transformer if everything else checks out.
  • The electrodes may also need adjusted.
  • The nozzle also may not be atomizing the fuel properly to keep the unit running. I recommend changing it at least once a year depending on the use.
There are some good video on YouTube that will give you some great troubleshooting ideas.

Model# WP071107R, Serial# 10/2007, Reddy Heater 150,000 BTU The fuel tank has a crack. Where can I get a new tank?

You can try reddyheater .com or try a two part epoxy. Clean well with acetone, sand paper to create good adhesion then JB Weld or any other good grade epoxy. This will work in a bind until you locate a new tank.

The furnace will only kick on after you shut the switch off for a few seconds.....

Shutting off the unit will reset the computer and erase the failure code. That is why it seems to be temporarily correct the problem. It seems that the unit is probably over heating. Because you said that it will run again after reseting the power. Try changing the filter and resetting the power.

I have a reddyheater 125T yr. 2006 hsi multifuel unit. It will light but after a few minutes it will shut off. I have cleaned the photocell and filters. But the heater still has the same problem. please...

Have you checked the pump pressure? The HSI heaters are super temperamental, by design, to correct pump pressure and correct flame color. Depending on usage over a winter the nozzle could be worn to a point where the fuel cone is a spray rather than a fog, therefore the flame is burning rich (off-color) and the photocell shuts the unit down.

You are wasting your time if you don't check the pump pressure 1st!
