How do i fix setup.exe has stopped working

I ran into a similar problem with an"uninstall" in the past. It seemed that the function removed some critical part of my laptop program. I was at a loss and someone suggested that I use the "restore to an earlier time" feature on my laptop. It worked for me. Go to START and search for RESTORE......... Just put in the date prior to installing the software for your Brother printer. Hope this helps.

Microsoft ISATAP Adapter This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device.

ISATAP is Microsoft trying to allow IPv6 to function over an IPv4 infrastructure, however, it was released extremely prematurely, and as a result, doesn't like to work, or install. According to Microsoft, your computer should continue to function without ISATAP functioning, and the error message may be ignored. However, if you believe that this may be causing you some problems, then you may navigate to the device manager ( Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager ) from this window, see if you can find ISATAP adapter and 4TO6 adapter, right-click these, and select "Disable" NOTE: this may cause Internet Explorer and Windows Mail to run slower and have a few errors.

I hope this helps!

In Device Manager, under Network Adapters I find a new entry called "Microsoft ISATAP Adapter".The yellow explanation mark indicating a problem is present. Status shows "Windows is unable...

Let me explain you about the Microsoft ISATAP Adapters.
ISATAP (Intra-Site Automatic Tunnel Addressing Protocol) is an IPv6 transition mechanism meant to transmit IPv6packets between dual-stack nodes on top of an IPv4 network.
It is a Windows Operating System Generic Driver.
This Driver will be installed automatically.

As this is a Windows default Driver, it has no specific functions.
As you are able to view the "yellow exclamation mark", you may just un-install the Driver..
This should not change the functionality of the Computer.
1) Right-click on the "ISATAP Adapter" in the Device Manager. 2) Then, click on "Un-install". 3) This should un-install the Driver. 4) Once you have done the above steps, restart the Computer for the settings to be enabled.
Performing the above steps should resolve the issue.
Hope this helps.
Please feel free to contact for further information and assistance.

Hi my Microsoft ISATAP is not working I followed the steps to reinstall it, is still not working

Hi j_lorcy,

As per Microsoft, you can safely ignore this error message. The Microsoft ISATAP adapter appears with a yellow exclamation mark (!) next to it in Device Manager does not indicate a problem with the adapter. The adapter will continue to work correctly. Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft Windows Vista-based Computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based Computer.

Hope this helps.

Please post back if you have any questions or require any further assistance.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I have switched my wireless switch to the "on" and "momentary" positions and am still unable to find wireless networks (and there is wireless available!)

Kindly check in the "Device Manager" if there is an exclamation mark beside the Wireless network adapter. If yes, you need to update your wireless driver. If no, there could be a hardware problem on the wireless lan card.

Disconnect your device and any other external devices.
Re-boot the machine in safe mode and check the device manager for flags.
If you see other devices or flags, red or yellow, remove them.
Re-boot the 6000 and allow unit to run a normal boot.
Check device manager again for flags.
If you are running VISTA, type msconfig at search and in center of page, look for add or remove programs. Highlight and hit the lunch button.

Close out the utility and reboot the system.
Check your device manager again for flags.
If OK re-install hardware and drivers.
