1) Wet the seal between the blender body and base BEFORE attaching them together. Seal snugly.
2) If the leak is from the blade/center shaft assembly, consider a new blender. The price of parts to repair a shaft leak is not cost effective except on the most high-end units.

Check the rubber bad seal around the bottom, they get chopped many times when using it, which can ruin your blender if you are not careful.

If the blender is leaking at the base, the seal is probably missing or the blade base needs to be replaced.

The company that bought the company that made the blender express said they were sending a new gasket months ago; however, I never received it and dont remember the company's contact info.

My blender leaks a dark fluid that sprays onto the underside of the plastic jar where it fits over the blender base.

Back to Basics Pro 600 Smoothie maker leaks ALOT more than 10 drops, the spout leaks as if it does not close all the way even though it appears to. This is my 3rd one and it leaks the most even on the first use. Is there anything to screw on to do away with the pour spout?
