Question about Panasonic DMR-E50 DVD Recorder
Ok. I just corrected that problem. You need to take it apart. There are 5 screws, 2 on the side and 3 along the back. Remove same and slip the top off. You will now see a plastic cover which is over the laser. Once again, there are 2 screws. Carefully remove same along with the front portion ( their are 3 clips on the bottom and 2 on the side. The eye ( laser) is now visible). Simply saturate a q tip with rubbing alcohol and clean the laser. Reassemble, and let it set for about 15 minutes. Slip your DVD ram disc and it will read it and allow you to record, just like before.
