Question about Optoma RD50 50" Rear Projection HDTV-Ready Television
Not sure how to describe this, so I've included a link to a picture of it. http://rhinowerx.com/1/optomaRD50.jpg The TV is an Optoma RD50(a?) - a couple of years old. The display is showing an inner tinted box. It only occurs when the TV is switched to the over-the-air (ANT1/ANT2) input. Somebody had mentioned that it looked like a signal block that can occur when trying to split the feed from cable box, but as I said, this is only happening with antenna. Up until recently, I had only ever used the TV for viewing DVD's, playing games and watching the occasional HD sporting event (via a HD tuner box) Any suggestions/thoughts? TIA -Jack
Check the closed caption settings. To me that looks like the TEXT mode is turned on.
