I recommend buy a CD or DVD top shelf burner and player for about $50. They are a whole lot easier to use, better quality, more portable, you don't overwhelm your computer, etc. Doing this in your computer can take several hours. Or you can follow your instint and get a video/music card capture.....you may need a technicial to add and configure it to your needs....more money.
