Question about Panasonic KX-TG2302 Cordless Phone (KXTG2302)

Open Question

Cordless Phone. It doesn't work!

I've had this phone [Panasonic KX-TC2007SUB] for almost a year and it's worked fine up until now. When I plug in my cordless phone, the green light goes on, but when I hit the "talk" button, nothing happens, no dial tone. I've plugged in another phone to the same telephone line and that goes through just fine. Also, when I hit the Handset Locator botton on the phone set, the light on the base unit blinks but nothing on the cordless phone.

Panasonic Dect 6.0 Plus has stopped working. It was working fine, but now the receiver doesn't hold a charge, and I can't get dial tone.

The rechargeable battery pack in the receiver needs to be changed, replace with genuine for optimal performance.

You can, but why? A generic cordless works fine for a lot less money. You need to know codes like 40, 9, 58x, etc.

The Panasonic blessed cordless phone set for the TA/TES is the 7896.

At $300+ you can buy 15 or more inexpensive cordless phones and learn the SLT codes.

Caller ID has aparently stopped working

Based on a user's review of this phone system on Amazon, I unplugged the base station, waited a few seconds and then plugged it back in. Caller ID display and announcement both work fine.

Is there a Panasonic cordless kx-t7730

The chances are, if you have CID you don't have to worry....the first call after 3am will fix it. If not, programming from extension 101 and 000 will fix it.

Any industry standard cordless phone will work on a Panasonic system...are you plugging it into a system phone port with the sytem phone? If you are trying to make both work on the same port, you have to tell the system that. Program option 610 in a TA series or 600 in a TDA series will set a Paralleled phone so both can work.

If you don't know how to get into System programming, your installer or dealer should.

Dropped calls when cordless phone plugged into it.

I have solved this problem several times by using a splitter at the telephone jack instead of the XDP port on the phone. The extension is programmed to share the port isn't it? That is in program 600.
