The keypad is not working. I forgot how to set the code.

All other aspects of the garage door work. When I press in our keypad code, nothing happens. The door will not raise or lower.

I just had a similar problem, and when I opened the button/panel on the inside of the garage, I realized there is a 9-volt battery there. That battery was more than 5 years old - no wonder it died.
One extra symptom, when the code was not working, I got no LED lights on the panel -- with a fresh battery, I now get an LED working. If you're not getting any light, check for a battery.

How do I check a wireless garage door keypad, to see if it is transmitting?

These remotes don't loose the programming code when a battery goes dead, most likely the remote or the board on the opener went bad, do any other remotes work? You can take the remote to an auto parts store and test it there. (They have a tester for key fobs)

When i installed my remote control for my garage door, the wireless keypad code disconnected and i need the instructions to make it work again (and make sure that both work again)

Probably what happened was you held the smart/learn button in for too long and erased the memory. Always press and immediately release that button. To program the keypad:

Press and immediately release the smart/learn button on then walk over to your keypad and key in your 4 digit code and press enter. You have 30 seconds to complete this.

The correct way to program a remote is to hold the button down on the remote and then press and immediately release the learn button. If this doesn't work your logic board is bad.

Craftman belt 1/2 hp garage opener with security sensor plus system. All remotes and homelink programed. Unable to get keypad to work. Enter code with light switch pressed then top bar pressed and nothing,...

The simplest way to program the keypad is to press and immediately release the smart/learn button and then walk over to the keypad and key in your 4 digit code and press enter. If this doesn't work the keypad is bad or you have the wrong keypad. You don't say why you are programming everything so I am guessing about the wrong keypad part.

That keypad should work with your opener. I suspect the keypad is bad if you have other remotes that work. If not it could be the logic board.

Our craftsman garage door opener's wireless keypad is broken

It sounds like the default no code is still there.

Reset the unitat the opener itself and reload your code from the remote.

Keypad does not work when I just change a new battery, no light

Make sure the battery is good. anytime you change the battery you need to reprogram the keypad.

Press and release the square button on the circuit board. You then have 20 seconds to input the desired code and press enter.

Hope this helps
