Unplug the coffee pot and push in the "1-4" and "TSB" buttons at the same time, hold the buttons in for a few seconds. This will reset the pot and you should be able to brew like normal after that.

I have a manuel and you need to press the clean button for 3 seconds and it will flash. If you add a solution then it will clean it takes about an hour. Then it will brew again until it needs cleaning again.

My Coffee maker is doing the same as everyone else. I did get the cleaning light to go off by pressing the "1-4" and "TSB" buttons at the same time, but without unplugging the electrical cord. It did reset the Coffee Maker, but, it still will not clean or brew. I hear it making a clicking noise, but nothing happens. I give up. Time to buy a Mr. Coffee machine.

I need to know how to clean my ge coffee maker model 169165, the clean light has been on a while and it has become significantly slower in brewing

Remove the carbon filter. Place a solution of 1/2 water, 1/2 vinegar into the machine. Hold down the cleaning button for 3 seconds. Cleaning cycles on and off for 1 hour. After complete, run 1/2 pot of fresh tap water through. Replace carbon filter with a new one. This should do it!

GE 169165 Won't brew and won't clean.

O.K sounds like an internal board fault and will require service by a technician. It may be easier to replace the unit and quicker. But try a quote first.

Coffeemaker will not brew a full pot

Try cleaning it with pure vinegar. 3-4 times just keep running it through the machine.

GE 169165 12 cup digital coffe maker

after 60 cycles it goes into the clean function, the clean light comes on..., remove the charcoal filter from the water tank, fill tank with 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar if you want to clean it, just water if you want to get it out of clean mode..., press clean button/light for 3 seconds and clean button flashes and the cleaning process begins...It takes 60 minutes / 1 hr. to complete, light goes off when complete. reinsert filter in tank .
