Question about Uniden DCT7585-4 Phone
All of a sudden, none of the four phones are ringing. They light up when a call comes in, but no ringing. Obviously, this makes detecting a call rather difficult. Any help? Thanks.
SOURCE: phones don't ring
Caller ID is a service that is provided by your telephone service provider and not the phone. If the phone company isn't sending your line Caller ID data, your phone won't display it. As for getting the handsets to ring, try pushing the volume up key while the handset is off, the more times you push the button, the louder the ring will get until you are at max ring volume. Also, some models have a "Do Not Disturb" feature which turns the ringer off. Without knowing which model phone you have I cannot tell you how to turn this feature on/off. but you can look it up in your manual online at http://www.uniden.com/index/manuals_results.cfm?cat=1
