My daughter bought me an electric blanket for christmas last year. I plugged it in last night, all lights are on but no heat. What can be done

Replace it. It is likely the heating element failed while it was dormant. Electric blankets are well known for doing this.

Are Muslims in Sweden demanding no Christmas decorations?

as the islamic faith does not recognize christians then any such festivity is an abomination to the islamic faith
this is the cry of muslims around the world in that they are offended by christian beliefs but strangely they use the christian justice and freedom systems to enforce their outrage.

Led christmas lights too bright

Usually if you plug a lamp dimmer in, you can dim LEDs. The problem is that you may be using a switch-mode power supply which will give feedback and automatically increase the voltage. The manufacturer is probably the only safe way to get information as to whether this can be done.

Outdoor 3-Outlet Photocell Timer

Photocell is 'seeing' lights and thinks it's dawn so it turns off.
When lights are off, timer thinks it's night and clicks back on.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Woods-timers-and-manuals.html#troubleshoot

1) Turn photoeye away from lights.
2) Buy new timer since photoeye is first thing to malfunction on cheap Christmas timers.
3) Buy new timer at Lowes, and return defect in new package

Hello Here Night Owl Optics owner manual web site for your monocular: http://www.nightowloptics.com/documents/NexGenMonoMULTImanual.pdf

One more thing. DO NOT LOOK THROUGH NV MONOCULAR DURING THE DAY, OR LOOK AT BRIGHT LIGHTS. This will destroy the image intensifier tube. Bright lights will make it go south faster than Speedy Roadrunner. I need parts if the image tube is gone. Night Owl Optics in El Paso, TX will charge you about $200 plus parts and shipping to repair it. So, listen no looky at bright lights in the neighbor bedroom window, hey. GB...stewbison

We have a GE prelit christmas tree for (this is the 3rd year). everything fine until last night when a fuse blew. we replaced with the extra fuse supplied and it lit again. on the plug it says 'use only...

the candles will not have had anything to do with the fuse blowing on your tree the fault is soley with the tree fuses are available at any good electronics parts store just make sure you only use 120v 6amp if the fuse blows again you have a serious fault with the tree and dont use the lights.

in some cases fuses blow on there own fault so if the fuse last then it was simply a worn fuse

best of luck
