Question about RCA HD52W59 HDTV Projection Television
I suppose I'm having the same problem as a lot of other people. The fl231 fuse is blown. The accompanying diode seems to be fine.
This may sound like a dumb question but I have to ask... I couldn't see where the wires on the flyback transformer were connected. So I figured I'll just cut the wires and then wire nut them and tape it up when I reinstall the board after replacing the fuse.
Is that going to be OK? I understand this transformer can really put out some high voltages.. and maybe that's why those wires are so well insulated.
