The sprayer that hangs from the top tray fell off. How does it reconnect? Thanks.

Hello wladyka, that's a great question!

Normally, the spray arm would just screw into place on a Frigidaire dishwasher. If you continue to experience issues with the spray arm I would suggest consulting with a professional for further assistance. Hope this helps. -Matt

Whirlpool quiet partner 2 top sprayer fell off and won't stay on

It should lock into place. Check a parts lookup on searspartsdirect.com to see if you are missing parts. it is a easy fix unless a part is missing , you have a spray arm and a lock tabtab

Little water to top rack

Your sprayer arms may be clogged.
The upper arm attaches to a tube in the back of the dishwasher. If the support clamps come loose, the upper spray tube will not be flush with the tube and can't carry water to the sprayer arms. Also the sprayer arms can become clogged with paper remnants, bone fragments, or pieces of peeling. You'll need to remove the sprayer arm and flush it at your sink. If there is a jet that is clogged, tweezers will help remove the residue.
I hope this helps. If it does, please come back to Fixya and rate my answer

Arms are clogged

You may have debris in the sprayer arm jets. It is usually simple to remove the sprayer arms. Then rinse them well using the sink sprayer for forceful water power. I have sometimes had to use a tweezer to remove bits of plastic, paper, bone, or food particles. Once you've remove the debris, rinse well forcing water through to dislodge any other debris. Once you've reattached the sprayer arms, you should have cleaner dishes. Also, some brands of dishwashers have a pipe that runs up the inside back wall and connects to a pipe that runs under the top shelf. Water flowing through this pipe under the top shelf propels the sprayer arms. If the connection at the back is not flush with the "propel" pipe there won't be enough water pressure to turn the sprayer arm. Check to see if your dishwasher has this type of set up.
I hope this works. If it does, please let Fixya know by rating my solution.
Good luck!

I have a GE Profile Dishwasher Model # GSD4940Z00SS. It does not wash very well. Water stays at teh bottom after each wash cycle. We have blow air through tubes and looked for obstruction but can not...

I had a similar problem and fixed it by disassembling the lower spray arm and return filter, and cleaning all the junk out.
Most dishwashers have 'risers' that bring the water up to the top sprayer or arm located under the top rack. If the recirculating pump is plugged even a little there won't be enough volume or pressure to get the water up there.
Test this by putting a dry muffin pan in the top rack, flat, and running the dishwasher for a bit. If there is no water on the top (or the bottom) either the top sprayer or the sprayer arm underneath the top rack is not getting enough volume.
To fix this you need to clean out the screen and filter, where the water returns to be recirculated. If you don't have any confidence to remove the parts and clean it out yourself, get an appliance repair person to do the job.

Center Sprayer Does Not Fully Recede when cycle ends

There may be some food or mineral build-up on it. Get some dishwasher cleaner and run the dishwasher empty per the instructions.
Or place a dishwasher-safe cup filled with plain white vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher. Using the hottest water available, run the dishwasher through a cycle - except for the cup of vinegar, the dishwasher needs to be empty.
The vinegar will help to wash away the loose, greasy grime, sanitizes, and helps remove the musty odor.

The upper sprayer arm fell off on my Frigidaire FDBB4365FC0.

I just had the same thing happen and fixed it! You might need to remove the upper rack first. In the "Roof" of the dishwasher, you should see what looks like a plastic gear wheel. It will screw off, but you will need to put a little force to get it started. Inside of the gear is a free floating plastic ring with 2 small teeth on one side. Make sure the teeth are facing down through the center hole of the wheel. Hold the ring with one finger, and snap the spray arm back in place. Just screw the assembly back into the washer and all is good... Until it falls out again...
