Question about Samsung 226BW Monitor

1 Answer

Icons are "off screen" on right side

My desktop is getting full, but when I download camera pictures, some disappear off to the right side of the screen where I can't see or find them.
Sometimes I can drag my mouse off screen and pull them back, other times I have to "rearrange" desktop command to get them. Regular programs fill out screen completely, but don't over flow off to the right side.
I have an ATI video card with the following setting:
Saphire Radeon X1550-version 8.11
2D driver 6.14.10.6879

Download your pictures to the my pictures folder instead of the desktop....clean off any icons on your desktop that you don't use...this will also help speed up your pc a little...even if you change screen res so you can see the picture Icons you'll keep getting the same problem in future

How to move icons from left side to bottom of screen

On all windows apart from Windows 8, you drag them from the desktop (left hand side) to the bottom (taskbar) with the mouse.

If the taskbar gets full up the icons might disappear.
The double bar at the end of the taskbar must be moved to the right for more of the taskbar to appear.

I have a canon S2Is. I downloaded some pictures to my mac and unplugged it before the icon came up that said safe to unplug now the camera wont even turn on

This is why pros use a card reader for downloading. On my Mac, I right-click on the icon that holds my pictures and choose "eject -------" and when the icon disappears, I can unplug. Here's what I would try now in your situation: remove the card and battery...press every button...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and battery...turn it on. Plug it back into your Mac and see if the icon appears. Use my method for unplugging and if everything is successful, run out and buy a card reader to use from now on. typrice_254.jpg

How do i take pics?

Well, the easiest way is to use the botom button on the right side (edge) of your phone.

The other way is to press the Main Menu button on the main screen. This is the middle icon at the bottom of the screen that has 4 dots then go to Media Center.
Select Pictures & Video then Take Picture.

Point and press the camera button (bottom right edge)

To switch between Video and Pictures, press and hold down the camera button until either the camera icon or the video (movie camera) icon appears.

Once you take the picture, you have to select the second icon down on the right to save it to the phone.

  1. Hit the "Start" button
  2. Goto "Control Panel"
  3. Double click the icon that says "Display"
  4. Click the top tab that says "Desktop"
  5. In the middle on the right is a drop down box that says "Position" , select the "Stretch" option.
  6. Hit OK

Won't upload to Iphoto

Use a card reader by taking out the card from the camera and downloading the pictures from the card reader with out using the camera at all.

This is one way to eliminate the problems with camera to computer drivers and software problems.

Picture features on my webcam

The same thing happened to me when I realized that you can find them on the Microsoft LifeCam Dashboard found in the Taskbar at the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

Right-click on the Dashboard and choose your background.
Have fun!

Hope this was helpful to you.
