SOURCE: I left the transit bolts in our

Highly unlikely any damage will have been done so long as it hasnt been in use for a long time (weeks).

In a front loading washing machine, most of the mechanicals inside are held between springs at the top and dampers at the bottom. The transit bolts are used to minimse how much movement can ocour whilst the machine is in transit as excessive movement could damage the springs/dampers. When they are removed, normal movement of the mechanicals helps keep the machine stable and minmises vibration.

So, the worst that happens when the machine is used with the transit bolts in place is it vibrates alot, and possible moves about.

Remove the bolts as soon as possible and it should be fine.

Zanussi E45 error

This is a door lock circuit error, damaged PCB board. Something took out the board, and is now showing the PCB has failed. The lock might have took the board out, or wiring issues etc. Not an easy job to repair, and kinda pricey. Sorry...

How much does a new PCB board cost for a Zanussi Jetstream 1600? Is it cost effective to change it?

hi if the product number is914512801 followed by 00 the electronic is £170 and has to be programmed on the machine (not do it yourself repair) . if the product number is followed by 01 the electronic is £82 and does not need programming as it is pre configured This you can do. I would look for earth faults on the heater or motor or short circuit on the pump or solonoid valves before changing the electronic . hope this helps.

I left the transit bolts in our "brand new" zanussi washing machine and am afraid to use it as I do not know what damage might have been done.

Zanussi jet system 1000

A E90 fault code means the main pcb board is faulty and i'm afraid to say, they are a expensive item and not always easy to replace, some come pre programmed and just swap across and others have to be programmed using the code on the white sticker on the board housing. either way it normally better to get a engineer to replace it because you don't get the programming instructions with the new pcb. I hope this helps

Fault E190

hi there the fault e90 is a common problem it means the main pcb and the display pcb are having problems communacating to repair this fault both pcb's have to be replaced and then the new one needs to be configured to your model of machine.

if i was you i would keep using the machine as long as you can put up with it, as this is a costly repair about £170

Frigidaire washer won't wash

i am a recently retired engineer and based on the info given, you are saying the drum wont go round?, then start with the belt, then the motor carbons, assuming this model doesn't have an induction motor, you didn't quote a model number for me to be sure, if carbons are ok then check the main pcb (module) to see if any thing is burnt or damaged, well thats a start to be going on with, further help if not successful but need more details, model number etc if i have helped rate me please
