-   The two images no longer form a single merged image in the middle anymore. Just off slightly but enough that cannot use binoculars. Is there some thype of internal adjustment?

-   My grandson dropped my 13-7307's this summer and now I can not merge the two images into one. Is this a common problem and where can I get it fixed?-   rljake

-   Don't recall dropping them or banging them but one eye's view is slightly higher than the other so as to cause double vision. Has NOTHING to do with distance between eyes (adjustable). It is apparent that a prism or lens or something has shifted but can't hear anything rattling or loose inside.-   blome
you can adjust the prism lenses with screws some have screws in them some have glue verry tiny adjustments needed as the lensmagnifuy this misalignment

Adjusting the distance between the eyepieces will help in some cases, but sometimes, the problem is misaligned prisms. This is most likely to occur in cheaper binoculars and may be more likely in porro-prism binoculars, which are generally less durable. If prisms are the problem, there isn't much you can probably do yourself to correct it. A warranty may cover the the problem.

No. The distance between the eyes, called 'interpupillary distance', varies from person to person and your binocular must be adjusted accordingly. Hold your binoculars in the normal viewing position. Grasp each barrel firmly. Move the barrels closer together of further apart until you see a single circular field. Always re-set your binoculars to this position before using.
boy ooh boy.everyoneone has the same problem...double image...so lets see why #1 bought a binocular for $20.00 and thought i could see.hello.....nnoooo....a good binocular costs at least $200.00 SO IF YOUR HORSE LOOSES THE RACE DONT BLAME YOUR BINOCULARS.dont by chinese junk #1.
I had a pair of binoculars that I drooped and could not get the image to merge, I took them apart and the prisim is glued in place, the glue broke and one of the prisims move I aligned it with the old glue and put a small drop of glue on the old glue spots, FIXED PROBLEM.
the problem is the optics have shifted because of the fall, now they have to be recollimated to get a single image...that could run anywhere from $25.00 to$125.00 depending on the binocular some i just cant repair, as they were made to be thrown away, you should check the warranty before buying.....if i can be of further assistance please contact me........larry@reichinstruments.com

something has definitely shifted to cause double image if you want you can send them to me for an estimate of repair...larry@reichinstruments.com
binoculars are collimated to work with all interpupillary distance when they are made,in cheaper models the play in the eyepices is so bad that it will effect collimation, at different interpuppilary distance.in other words opening and closing center hinge should not effect collimation if they are alined correctly....larry@reichinstruments.com

- interpupillary distance should not effect alignment if binoculars are collimated correctly, unless they are poorly made to begin with. in todays market there is just so much junk out there. if you think yours may be worth repair, you can check out my website for an estimate. hope this helps.................larry@reichinstruments.com

I have PV series compact binoculars that the lense have gotten slightly out of synch. The images for each side are not completely in line. Can they be adjusted?
I have had my c-840wa for 3 or 4 years I dropped them and knowing it was not covered by warranty I attempted to fix them. One connection point cracked loose.Repairs worked the first time. Dropped again unfortunately I have had no success this time, the damage causes double images it's apparent its the prism when I attempted to fix it this time the prism came completely loose. Any pointerts on this repair.
