Question about Nintendo Wii Console

Wii makes squeaking/chirping noise

My Wii console started making a buzzing noise when I started playing the new animal crossing game.  Now if I play a game it makes the buzzing noise and goes into the squeaking/chirping noise, but will continue to play the game.  If it starts to squeak for a while, I'll get out of the game, put another game in and then it won't read the disk.  Also if I play the gamecube Metroid Prime game it will squak and then kick me out of it. (says the disk cannot be read).

This is a hardware failure. Sending it Nintendo is the only option. Unless you think you have the skills to repair it yourself. Here is the link to Nintendo
http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/repair/repair_options.jsp
If you want to repair it yourself you need a wii dvd drive. Any version works.

When i play the game (animal crossing: Let's go to the city) on a different Wii i have to start from the very begining. Why will it not pick up from where i left?

This is because your save data doesn't go onto the game disc itself. Instead the wii is designed to save directly it's built in console hard drive or possibly a memorey card.
you can however transfer your saves to an sd card via your consoles memory managment options (this way you could bring your save data to your friends house and use it on their wii)
this link will help explain: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/data.jsp#SDcopy
hope it helps
~good luck!

Loaded game = loud buzzing

After removing the casing, all that need to be done was loosen (yes, loosen) a screw on the inner frame about a quarter turn. This allowed a little movement to the frame and stopped the buzzing.

Wii makes a buzzing sound when discs are running

The noise is the wii working extra hard to read the disk the lens might be dirty. Your wii might also have a bomb in it.............Just kidding. I would try cleaning the inside and if all is bad send it in to get fixed

The screen goes blank, wii emits buzzing noise.

refrain from playing for a few days.

its what you call a black screen of death. it will keep happening until your wii stops if you dont refrain from playing for a while and obey the health/safety rules (sometimes the wiis pass becuase the health/safety rules hide the bsod) [health/safety rules: take a ten - minute break every hour.] BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR WII IT IS VERY FRAGILE IF IT GETS A BSOD!!!!!!! {fragile=easily damaged INTERNALLY}

My Wii makes an annoying buzzing sound

I think thats normal. If your really annoyed about it, Play some music that cancels out the noise. I'm sure the in-game music your playing should go over the buzzing noise.

Wii will play gamecube games but not wii games

I heard something on youtube about that. It seems that the disc is hitting on the case so you would have to take it apart and fix it.
