Question about HP 22" Widescreen Flat Panel TFT LCD HD Monitor
When I turn my computer on, my HP flat screen, w2207 monitor gives message"no dvi input" and then goes to sleep. Then I have to shut down and restart, it takes about 3-4 times before the monitor connects correctly. What do I do?
I have a new HP pavilion slimline with Vista......a 19 inch flatscreen monitor......I went nuts with it not connecting and saying no DVI input......
I tried something and so far it has worked 10 times in a row...
start out with puter and monitor off.......turn on monitor.......let it go to sleep....then turn on puter....
I have the puter that has the start button on top of it.....not too crazy about it.....
hope this works for you.........Judy in NY

DVI input means Digital video input, check the cables on both monitor and the back of the computer. If they are solid and tight then you may have a bad cable. hope this helps biigg53566

My computer monitor goes off and on. When it is on, it is only on for 1 or 2 seconds. on the display, it says no dvi signal. could this be a bad cable? or does it sound like something in the monitor?
