Question about ASUS Computers & Internet
I just successfully installed a new Lexmark X9575 printer via a USB port on my ASUS P5B Premium board. Install went AOK. But when I later tried to re-boot, the system hung on the very first screen (ASUS logo). If I uinplug the USB cable the system boots successfully. ????
Funny fault...... try to boot it uo without printer in windows plug the printer in see if it prints and in working condition. If any funny fault you know something is up with your Printer. O ja check to see in bios boot options make sure boot from usb is dissabled hope this helps

While booting press whatever key or combination required to enter BIOS setup and find the boot section. Disable USB from the boot devices list.
