Question about HP DesignJet 5500PS InkJet Printer

Printer Properties not in English

My HP designjet 5500ps Properties is appear on some kind of language that doesn't exist, so im trying to format the paper size and etc but i can't because of the language. also i can't reinstall it because i have lost the cd for the printer.

Turn the designjet off at the back by the power plug.
Hold the "enter" button down and turn the designjet on at the back plug and the front plug switch, you should get a menu to choose a language

there is no oil on the slide bar .dip your finger into some sewing machine oil and gently rub the oil on the slide bar.(the carriage slides left to right on the slide bar)

After print heads alignment its getting error 1004


The trailing cable is probably runing the printhead. Try replacing the printhead and trailing cable together. Parts available at: http://www.lpscomputer.com/c-622-designjet-5000-5500.aspx

Printing in only one direction...very slow


Is the quality all right? Check our print options and make sure you haven't specified printing in only one direction.
