Date?Time Screen stays on

I turn on my camera and the screen is regular for about a second but it says "no memory card at the top" (There is a memory card in and it is working because i tried it in another camera) Then it goes straight to the Date/Time Screen. None of the buttons will work to get me out of it.

The part where memory card went in is damaged like bent metal, you should buy new camera and be careful in the future putting in mem card the right way.

My camera will turn on, then when screen is on for about 5 seconds, the screen turns off, and the red light beside the SIM card slot starts flashing.

Take out memory card form camera and turn it On, if camera stays On and shows normal view that means memory card is bad and causing problem.
Put new memory card in camera and take pictures.
Thanks.

No memory card, set time

The date/time battery is "built in" (not replaceable) to this model according to page 13 in the manual (available here). It is supposed to recharge when you have the regular battery installed, but if you leave the regular battery out for more than "approximately three weeks", the internal battery may go flat.

I'm not sure this has anything to do with the memory card issue, though. Check the battery problem by inserting a freshly charged battery, turning on the camera and setting the correct date and time, then turning off the camera and waiting an hour or so (with the main battery still in the camera). Turn the camera back on, and if the date and time have to be reset again, your internal battery may be bad, and the camera would need to be serviced.

Locked up

On my Moultrie MFG-DGW 2.1, I was unable to change settings etc... It seemed to be locked at the Date/Time screen. I powered off the unit, removed the memory card. Turned on the unit. Then I could change the settings. I made my changes, powered the unit off, reinserted the memory card, turned the unit back on and it read the card and I could make changes too. This happens from time to time. I just have to follow those steps to clear it.

Hope that helps.
