Vivitar 5200 Thrysister flash for Canon camera. Dropped and no longer working. Is it worth fixing or should iget areplacement. If to be replaced, which unit is areasonably priced replacement.

Get slave triggers and use them as remote flashes, or buy another film camera.
It seems Vivitar no longer is in the flash business. Get a Sigma or Sunpak digital flash for your SX10

First, if you can view the images, the lcd is not broken. Second, if you get an lcd screen, do you have the technical knowledge and tools to install it?
