Question about Car Audio Receivers
I'm trying to replace a AM/FM CD Radio in a 98 S10 ZR2. I need a diagram. One inital problem is my replacement radio has three green wires and two blue wires. These multiple wires are the same color? Multiple blue color and multiple green color? One more thing, my S10 has a remote cassette player and this radio has that option.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, firstname.lastname@example.org.

SOURCE: cd player install in my truck
there are install kits that you can get that have a factory plug on the end that plug directly into your truck and the wires at the other end are color coded the same as the radio so then its a matter of matching colors and taping the wires together
this one is for a 73-87 full size blazer but it also fits full size pickup you didnt say if your truck is full size or not .......if you have an s10 it is also available at that site
hope this helps

Here's a link to the manual. The wiring color code for the supplied harness is on page 78. The diagram is rotated 90 degrees clockwise. I recommend that you download the PDF and print out the page you need.
Hope this helps.

Hi and welcome to FixYa,
On your need for the radio wiring of 99 Ford Explorer and a 96 Ford Crown Victoria, see below wiring scheme:
Confirm with a voltmeter on the +12 and an ohmmeter for speaker continuity.
Good luck and thank you for asking FixYa.
