Go to control panel on the computer Go to printers and faxes or printers Click on add a printer Select 'Add a local printer' and click on Next Use existing prot is already selected and next to that there is a drop down, from the drop down select virtual printer port or USB port (Usb0001...) Click on next, and on the next window; In manufaturer's box select Hp and in Printers box select Deskjet 990c Then keep clicking next and at last finish Try to print any test page and then try to print envelope Note: 1. Hp Deskjet 990c is the universal driver for all hp printers 2. This work around only works in the case of Windows Xp and Windows Vista not in Windows 7 3. In windows 7, instead of Deskjet 990c, we can use Deskjet 9800

Ink spots and blurring on envelopes - no problems with regular paper on hp Deskjet 1280

For envelopes and other special paper types, you have to tell the printer what kind of paper you are using so that it can adjust its print settings. In the printer properties, set the paper type to envelope or thick paper and try printing again.

My HP officejet L7680 prints #10 envelopes differently from the intended design. It moves the logo and return address lines to an unwanted location on the envelope face. How can I fix this?

Please consult this HP support article for printing envelopes with your machine. Make sure you have allowed a sufficient margin from the edge of the envelope or the printer will be unable to print your setup. If you're using a MAC os, see here.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

There is no envelope accessory. You feed your envelope in a slot just above the paper tray. There is usually a graphic on the tray to show you how to orient the envelope to get it printed correctly. Your word processor program should have an envelope printing utility. Hope this works for you.

HP 712C Printer won't print envelopes

hi dear

Choose envelopes that are close to 20-lb paper in weight and thickness. Also, make sure that the adhesive on the envelope is capable of withstanding the heat that the fuser puts out to keep the printing on the page. If you don’t, the envelopes will come out of the printer already sealed. If envelopes are coming out of the printer wrinkled, they may be too stiff for the paper path. Open the rear of the printer and let them exit at that location instead.

oke
