How to fix uneven printing on every other line

Still it has to do with a nozzle form the print head.
I know it is almost impossible, but it could be just a spec of dust could be under the print head. Try to find and remove it.
If nothing works, remove the cartridge the problem is caused with, let one drop of cleaning fluid fall in the appointing nozzle in the cartridge holder, and repeat cleaning. Or continue printing.
It looks the print head is using one nozzle going one way, and does not use it going the other way. Strange.

How to fix text from printing unevenly as if the roller was not rolling consistently?

Sorry, I don't have one. Mine was a different problem; incompatibility between my old hp desk jet 5650 and my new Mac Book Pro. Just needed a newer printer!
When something like what you describe happens it is because the cartridge is dry; I change the cartridge.

Faded text every few lines- Canon printer

When you print photos you print in Max dpi, for this no faded lines anywhere. Probably you have a problem only in black color in print head.
Мay be it's partially clogged or partially defective.

First print line print fades away across page,

The page size is off. Try readjusting it in your "printing preferences". Otherwise, if it is new, back to the store for a replacement. It really should not do that.

It prints but it's all faded and a white line runs through each line of text. the blue prints very well and all my ink tanks are new.

Remove the print heads and soak the tips in alcohol free glass cleaner for about an hour and try them again. The glass cleaner breaks up the crystallized ink in the print heads BE SURE TO USE ALCOHOL FREE glass cleaner alcohol sets ink.

Printing pictures

If your normal print looks OK, make sure that you are printing your pictures on the correct side of the photo paper. Most photo paper will only print properly on one side. If you print on the other side, the image looks very grainy and faded, and the ink will still be quite wet when it comes out of the printer.
