Hi,

I had this problem and it was very annoying. What you have to do is..... create a new text message, enter the text that is annoying (mine was is coming up as 47). When you type the word and it comes up with the annoying one, select the word that you wanted and enter a space, and do it again and again (you can do this in the same text message - it can take up to 20 goes and eventually, the dictionary recognises that you actually wanted "is".

Numbers come up instead of some words eg me comes

Hi, why numbers like that comes up is because the text format is on T9. You will need to change to standard format, By holding down the harsh key # till it brings up options for you to choose from. Then you can now select standard abc format.

Take care.

If you have accidentally saved a word into the T9 dictionary (ie, "IS" comes up with "47" or "Get" comes up with "HDU", you can teach the dictionary to revert back to the original word.

during your message composition, press the left soft key to enter your messaging mode or text entry mode, there you can highlight what you want, word mode or voice command mode, etc.

How do I delete auto text words from dictionery Samsung GT 8300

No, u cannot delete the auto text word from the build-in dictionary function name T9, but u can disable this auto text mode.
When open a new text message, just press the icon ABC to change the mode to ABC, T9 or number.
