I had the same problem a couple of times. i phoned the Sansa guy and he told me this:
1)connect Sansa to computer
2)go to 'my computer'
3)click on the 'Snasa e250' icon
4)right click on 'PPL NAND'
5)choose 'format'
6)click 'OK'
7)wait until the frmatting is complete and a small screen shoud pop up and say 'format complete'. click 'OK'

Use the Sansa Media Converter to convert the video to a format the Sansa can handle. If you've lost the SMC, you can download the Windows version from http://www.megaupload.com/?d=3IPZO6Q0

Hello J.kam
Use disk management to format it.
At times we use other format like fat or fat32.
Try this.

My sansa m230 all messed up i need help?

Hi, Try formating the sansa first. You can do so by clicking on "My computer" and then right click on the sansa drive and "Format". It will help in case the 20th song was in an invalid format. Let me know if it helped. D.
