Everytime when I move my laptop (acer travelmate 3270) even a little and gentle movement gives me the message (new unknown usb device connected).....I disconnected all usb devices from my laptop such as mouse and printer,but the problem persists...Otherwise the laptop is working normally (the screen , cd drive and speakers, wifi,bluetooth ,camera and mic all working normal...)..
The laptop is free from any viruses and software errors..
What is the problem??!!
This sounds like a loose USB port. Have yo accidentally jolted it before by accidentally hitting a flash drive or a projecting USB plug. If so then it might be a loose plug on the motherboard and if one of those plg connectors hits another it will think there is a new device and try to install it. Take it to a shop or if you can go to www.repair4laptop.com and look up how to disasemble your laptop. Then resodder it in place - or take it to a shop. It may be expensive but the risk of damaging something else is less.
