Not sure on yours but most domestic refrigerator don't have TX v@lvs

Is it possible for a delfield freezer 6151 XL-S to trip a breaker every 2-3 hours if the TXV valve was faulty letting liquid get to compressor. This unit has had controller and relay start assembly...

I would look to see if it is tripping during the defrost cycle. One of the heater elements my be faulty. Never heard of a bad TXV causing a breaker tripping, but I guess it's possible. I would adjust the superheat so that it is about 6 to 8 degrees just prior to unit reaching temp and shutting off. I'd start there.

I have a 2000 6151-s freezer i just bought used the temp is steady a 12 degrees but sounds like its running all the time or is it the fan.i bought this for residential use.

Undercharged with refrigerant.

My freezer 6151 has build up ice on top of the unit. please help?

start by verifying that the defrost time clock works. Located in the top of the unit. Let me know if we need to go any farther.

Delfield freezer 6151-S ,replaced door gaskets and they don`t seal

Take a hair dryer (or take off the gasket and throw them in the clothes dryer (yes I am for real I do this all day long)) then put them back on. or the hair dyer way is keep heating the gasket up and holding the door closed while you do it. they should start to seal as you are pressing them together.

Try it in a normal plug. Freezers and refridgerators just pull too much to be used on a GFCI. The more a GFCI is used the eaiser it trips.
